2018 - Annual Bird List (and Lifers, there were none. Sad, huh?)

Ghost of Audubon on a freakn' cracker! It's end of 2018 and not a single new lifer to show for it. I'm grateful to be alive, but honestly, 2018 so sucked on the birdie front. The big wrench was having to cancel a birding trip to Nome, Alaska while I fought to survive hospitalization for pneumonia/blood sepsis and hangnails, 2018 was... um... exasperating. I made an umpteenth trip to Rocky Mountain National Park to find White-tailed Ptarmigan, Rosey Finches & again - no dice. If 2019 isn't better I might just sign up for a remedial birding classes.
